With development of the company, the role of HR Dept. is changing. At the initial development stage of Beijing Opportune Technology Co. Ltd, linear management structure was adopted according to the 1st five-year plan and operation feature of that time. The service function of HR Dept. was stressed. Beginning from the 2nd five-year plan, with the extension of business, linear management structure was no longer able to satisfy the company¡¯s development. HR Dept. made its first adjustment, changing its structure from linear to functional and itself from a service dept. to a management dept. The third five-year plan has started at this stage. HR Dept. will transform its organization structure from linear functional to business in the first year of the 3rd five-year plan according the overall strategic goal, the current operation condition and development requirement. Meanwhile, the management levels will become flat. The role of HR¡¡Dept. will gradually turn to strategic management, more than involving in execution but also taking part in strategic decision-making. |
